About us

Jologs is a Filipino bistro under the umbrella of Café Calle Real. The word “Jologs” is the short form of Jojo’s many Silogs. The word “SiLog” is the acronym of Sinangag (Garlic Fried Rice) and itLog (Sunny-side-Up Fried Egg). The bistro offers an array of traditional Filipino meats in various marinades complimenting our house-special garlic fried rice and home-made pickled green papaya, called “achara”. Filipino cuisine is a unique blend of Asian and Western influences, especially from China, Spain, and the U.S., which are the countries that greatly influenced the culture of the Philippines. Rice figures prominently in the diet of most Filipinos and their tastes prefer much flavor, spicy or salty like their neighbors in Southeast Asia and sweet like their American colonialist. Jologs’ unique selling proposition is that it is the very first of its kind in the whole of Singapore. It is a place where novelty dishes are offered. These dishes are unique yet not new or unpopular. It is part and parcel of the rich Filipino culture and cuisine. The bistro will be located in the city along Orchard Road at Lucky Plaza specifically. The location is picked for the very reason that it is the Filipinos’ center for all its activities and trades - Filipino provision shops, eateries, remittance offices, bank and many more. To inform and persuade our target market our promotion and sales technique is a combination of direct marketing, advertising and public relations, which we expect to bring us to new heights and recognition as a leader in this respect.
